Movie Theaters

Okay, we see movies a lot, the movie theater is by far the best place to go to see the latest and greatest. We get most of our inspiration from every day things, but movies influence us a lot. Nerf ideas aren't exactly going to be found in any new movie that is out because no one has made a big Nerf movie yet, well, not yet, that is. We are into war movies like Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and the Band of Brothers HBO series. Our Nerf WAR videos have somewhat been influenced by these.

YouTube

Well, YouTube videos have caught our attention every now and then. Some really good ones are "The Great Office War" "The Dark Knight - Interrogation Scene Spoof" and some Nerf Gun modding videos we see every now and then. Heck the fact that we even make videos in the first place is because of the fact that youtube is here to provide us a service to upload our videos so people can view them, rate them, and comment them.

Renting Movies

Next to seeing the latest flicks at the local movie theaters, we need to rent the favorites and classics at the movie renting places such as Blockbuster and Family Video. You can never go wrong with the classics. We have too many favorites to list that we can rent from the local video store. Family Video is our best bet because it is the closest to our location, the prices are great, the staff is great, and they have all the great movies we love.

 Most Importantly...

WE GET OUR MOVIES FROM OUR HEART AND MINDS. Sure, we have inspiration and influences such as the ones listed, but the important thing to remember is that good movies come from the heart, they are your own unique creations that the public can view. It is the best feeling in the world to see your creations come to life and to watch others comment them and give feedback, positive or negative. We can think up the most random ideas for movies, such as our "Nerf Wars: The Graham Cracker" video, and the most influential movies we make like our "Nerf Wars: The Zombie" when most of our ideas came from a game called Left 4 Dead. We are trying to say, that you really can make whatever movies you want, just make sure the ideas don't just come from others, make the movies because you want to, because you love to, and because you have the ideas. Dream them, think them, bring them to life.
